Eco-Field Trips
Our eco-field help students build a connection with nature.
Details: Our Eco-field trips teach our participants about their relationship to the earth, their role in the ecosystem, and how they can help protect where they play.
Needs: Drivers and chaperones.
Commitment: 1 day a month. Fall and Spring Season.
Surf Therapy Fiestas
Help facilitate one of our monthly surf days.
Details: Our summer program introduces our students to the ocean through monthly surf days, familiarizing them with being in the water and providing them with tools, resources, and education to stay inspired and empowered.
Needs: Driving boards to the beach, set up, unloading boards, picking up lunch, helping with sign-ups and check-ins, surf instruction, building sandcastles, equipment breakdown & pack up.
Commitment: 1-2 days a month. Summer Season.
Mentorship
Become a mentor for one of our students!
Details: One-on-one sessions between you and your little amigo/amiga. The activity is up to you, the familia mentor, and your little amigo/amiga to decide on based on their interests. Whether it be a surf session, a walk on the beach, playing in tide pools, or an activity they’ve always wanted to try, we try to keep this casual so you begin to feel like family!
Commitment: 1 day per month, 2-6 hours depending on your chosen activity. Fall and Winter Season.
